Gorman Trail Video
Terrain: All kinds of terrain from hard pack dirt to sand
Skill Level: Every skill level, main trails are easy, side trails and mountain region are intermediate to difficult
Scenery: Wedged between hillsides
General Weather: Potential for high winds, hot in the summer and cold in the winter
Amenities: Restrooms, trash cans, and camp sites, but no running water
Forest Pass: No
Gorman OHV area is over 20,000 acres of various terrains. The area is enormous, and offers any kind of riding you want. Overnight camping is permitted, and it can be crowded on the weekends.
Directions:
From LA area:
- Take the 5 North and exit Gorman
*Note: This is the last food and gas until Gorman. - Turn left and go under the freeway, make a right on Peace Valley Rd and drive for 1 mile
- Turn left at OHV sign (or gold hill road) into Gorman and follow road to any staging area to park
- $5 Entrance fee for 1-day
